Medicube Kojic Acid Turmeric Vita Jelly Mist Serum is a 100ml spray-on jelly mist that sits somewhere between a facial spray and a light serum. It is designed to be used through the day over dry, tired-looking skin — including, unusually for skincare, over makeup.

What a jelly mist is actually for

A conventional facial spray is mostly water. It feels refreshing for about a minute, then evaporates — and because evaporating water takes some of your skin's moisture with it, a plain water spray can leave skin slightly drier than before.

A jelly mist is built to avoid that. It sprays as a fine mist but carries humectants and light emollients — here, panthenol, squalane and allantoin — so that something stays behind on the skin after the water has gone. That residue is what holds moisture in rather than letting it escape.

In Kuwait this is a genuinely practical difference. Between outdoor heat and heavily air-conditioned interiors, skin loses water through the day, and a mist that leaves nothing behind does not help with that. This one does.

    The ingredients doing the work

    • Vitamin C — an antioxidant associated with brightness and defence against daily environmental stress.
    • Turmeric extract — long used for calming redness and irritation.
    • Panthenol — pro-vitamin B5, a reliable hydrator and skin-soother.
    • Squalane — a lightweight emollient that mimics the skin's own lipids without feeling greasy.
    • Allantoin — soothing, and helps skin feel smoother.

An honest note on the kojic acid

This product carries the "Kojic Acid Turmeric" family name shared across a whole line of Medicube products. A full ingredient list with declared concentrations is not widely published for this particular mist, so we would rather not tell you how much kojic acid it contains.

What we can say is that it is worth setting expectations sensibly. Buy this as a hydrating, soothing mist that happens to sit in the brightening family — not as a pigmentation treatment. If fading dark spots is your actual goal, a leave-on serum applied to clean skin will do far more than a mist sprayed over the top of makeup. The Kojic Acid Turmeric Niacinamide Serum is the product built for that job.

    How to use it

    1. Shake gently and hold about 20cm from your face.
    2. Close your eyes and spray evenly across the face.
    3. Pat it in lightly with your fingertips rather than letting it air-dry — patting helps it absorb instead of evaporating.
    4. Over makeup, use a lighter hand and press gently with clean fingers rather than rubbing.

Frequency: as often as you like. There are no acids or retinoids in it, so there is no upper limit.

It is an extra, not a replacement

A mist will not do the job of a moisturiser, and using one instead of a cream is a common reason people find their skin gets drier rather than better. Keep your normal routine — cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser, sunscreen — and use this on top of it during the day.

Where it fits in the Kojic Acid Turmeric range

    Product Role Strength
Vita Jelly Mist Serum Daytime hydration and refresh Light
Kojic Acid Turmeric Niacinamide Serum The actual brightening treatment Strongest
Resurfacing Toner Daily tone and texture Medium
Kojic Acid Turmeric Pads Exfoliating step Medium–strong
Vita Capsule Cream Moisturiser with brightening actives Medium

Start with the serum if brightening is the goal; add this mist for comfort through the day. For antioxidant brightness in a leave-on serum, the Deep Vita C Capsule Serum is the alternative. Browse the complete Medicube range at EmartGCC.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I use it over makeup?

Yes — this is one of the main reasons to own it. Hold the bottle a little further away, use a light spray, and press gently with clean fingers rather than rubbing, so you do not disturb your base.

Will it fade my dark spots?

Not meaningfully on its own. A mist has brief contact with the skin and is often applied over makeup, which limits what any active in it can achieve. For pigmentation, use a leave-on serum on clean skin — the Kojic Acid Turmeric Niacinamide Serum is designed for exactly that.

    Can it replace my moisturiser?

No. It contains humectants and light emollients, but not enough occlusive content to seal moisture in the way a cream does. Using a mist instead of moisturiser is a common cause of skin getting drier over time.

How is it different from a normal facial spray?

A plain water spray evaporates and can take some of your skin's moisture with it. This one leaves behind panthenol, squalane and allantoin, so something remains on the skin to hold water in after the mist has dried.

How often can I use it?

As often as you want. There are no exfoliating acids or retinoids in it, so there is no frequency limit and no need to build up.

Does it sting or feel sticky?

It should not sting. The jelly texture can feel very slightly tacky for a moment before it settles, which is normal for a mist carrying humectants — patting it in helps it absorb faster.

Can I use it with retinol or exfoliating acids?

Yes. It contains no acids of its own, and its soothing, hydrating ingredients are genuinely helpful alongside actives that cause dryness.

Should I keep it in the fridge?

You can, and in Kuwaiti summer it makes the mist considerably more pleasant. It is not required for the product to work.

How long does a 100ml bottle last?

It depends entirely on how often you reach for it. Used a couple of times a day, most people find it lasts around two to three months.

    Buying Medicube in Kuwait

EmartGCC supplies 100% original Medicube with delivery across Kuwait, usually next day, cash on delivery available and a 14-day return window on unopened items. Keep the bottle out of direct sunlight — vitamin C is one of the ingredients most affected by heat and light, and a mist left in a hot car will not last as well.
