Talal Al Mashari
Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Glow Pad is a jar of 60 soaked pads delivering the PDRN line's hydration in a single sweep — a toner step you do not have to decant. Unlike Anua's Clear Pad, these do not exfoliate, so there is no frequency limit.
Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Glow Pad at a glance
| This listing | 180ml jar, 60 pads |
| Headline ingredients | Sodium DNA (PDRN), hyaluronic acid |
| Best for | Dehydration, dullness, convenience |
| Contains acids? | No — these are hydrating, not exfoliating |
| Frequency | Daily, morning and evening, no limit |
| Exfoliating pad instead | Heartleaf 77 Clear Pad |
Not all pads exfoliate — and this distinction matters
Toner pads have become a category where people get into trouble, because two very different products look identical in the jar.
Exfoliating pads contain AHAs or BHAs. They have a frequency limit, they need care around retinol, and using them daily damages a lot of people's skin.
Hydrating pads — these — contain no exfoliating acids at all. They are a toner on a cotton pad. You can use them twice a day, every day, alongside anything, with no risk of over-exfoliation.
If you already use the Heartleaf 77 Clear Pad or another exfoliating pad, these are not a second one of those. They are the hydrating step, and the two can be used in the same routine — exfoliating pad on the nights you exfoliate, these on all the others.
Are pads better than a bottle?
Honestly, no — they are more convenient, which is a different and still valid reason to choose them.
| Pads | Bottled toner | |
|---|---|---|
| Convenience | Higher — no decanting | Requires cotton or hands |
| Cost per use | Higher | Lower |
| Layering | Awkward | Easy, two or three passes |
| Travel | Excellent | Liquid restrictions |
| Light physical sweep | Yes | No |
Choose pads if convenience is what keeps you consistent. A routine you actually complete beats a theoretically better one you skip. If you want maximum hydration per dirham, the PDRN 100 Booster Toner layered two or three times does more for less.
How to use them
- Cleanse first. Pads are not a substitute for washing your face.
- Take one pad and sweep gently over the face and neck. No pressure — there is nothing here that needs scrubbing in.
- Press the remaining essence in with your fingertips rather than letting it evaporate.
- Do not rinse. Continue with serum and moisturiser.
Frequency: twice daily if you like. No acids means no limit.
As a targeted mini-mask
Split a pad and lay the halves over drier areas — under the eyes, across the cheeks — for five to ten minutes. It is a reasonable use of one pad and more effective than a quick sweep on skin that is genuinely tight.
Keep the lid closed
The pads dry out from the top down. Press them flat, close the lid firmly, and use clean fingers or the tweezers if supplied — you are putting these on your face, and an open jar with damp cotton is worth treating carefully.
Which Anua pad should you choose?

Frequently asked questions
Do these pads exfoliate?
No. They contain no AHAs or BHAs. They are a hydrating toner on a cotton pad, which is why there is no frequency limit and no conflict with retinol or acids.
Can I use them with an exfoliating pad?
Yes. Use the exfoliating pad on the nights you exfoliate and these on all the others. They serve different purposes and do not compete.
How often can I use them?
Twice daily if you want. Nothing in them accumulates or over-treats.
Are pads better than a bottled toner?
More convenient, not more effective, and more expensive per use. If convenience is what keeps you consistent, that is a good reason to choose them. For pure value, a bottle layered two or three times does more.
Do I rinse after using one?
No. Press the remaining essence in and carry on with your serum and moisturiser.
Can I use them on my neck?
Yes, and you should — the neck gets the same sun exposure as the face and is routinely skipped.
Will they brighten my skin?
Only in the sense that well-hydrated skin reflects light better and looks more even. They contain no brightening actives. For tone, the Niacinamide 5 TXA Brightening Pad is the one that does that work.
How long does a jar of 60 last?
Two months at once daily, or one month twice daily.
